Essenza Amalfitana is a Company made of immigrants, Franco (Italian), Danara (Venezuelan of Italian grandparents), and Ana Maria, (Spaniard with Italian father and Spanish mother).

The three (3) of us, have come a long way before we came to realize that the kitchen was the place of convergence and growth for us with our family background.

Our company was created at the beginning of 2023, with the objective of creating a brand that would allow people to connect, as we do, with their childhood memories, their roots; or their dreams of getting to know new cultures, through flavors that are not so well known to them.

The first recipe we created, is one that connects with the love of the family, the eggplant in oil (melanzane Sott'olio), this recipe takes us to the heart of Amalfi, to the Amendola family, specially to Mario, who according to tradition prepare it with his own hands, for his whole family, leaving in every bite a little bit of his love for his family, for the kitchen maintaining all of its traditional flavors.

Essenza Amalfitana is just that, a company that is born from that love, and tries to transmit it, as the family tradition it is from its origins. We do not use any additives, preservatives, or any other substance that is not part of the original recipe, we follow the traditional methods, respecting the products and getting the best of them in our antipasti.

We consider ourselves an Artisan Company, who’s members love what they do.
